Compared with traditional radiotherapy, the fine dose sculpting of CyberKnife® radiosurgery allows better normal tissue sparing around soft tissue lesions, enabling the effective application of large dose per fraction radiosurgery, delivering optimized radiation which uniquely matches the radiobiologic characteristics of melanoma (13,14,15).
