Virtually unlimited number of targeting angles
The CyberKnife® device typically treats from several hundred different directions, selecting from approximately 1600 different non-coplanar potential targeting angles (known as nodes). This capability, combined with a powerful treatment planning computer system, creates virtually unlimited dose sculpting and superior normal tissue avoidance from high dose beams compared with other devices.
